For weeks, we have been seeing aimless morons showing up at town-halls, on TV, waving their vapid placards equating Obama with a well known German dictator, saying that there will be "death panels" for the elderly, practicing eugenics and the like.
I so despise the tactics of the Republican right-wing that I can hardly contain myself. Leave it to them to attack what they do not yet know, foment opposition based on lies and allow themselves to rest on their soft backsides to the exclusions of the nameless millions who need help. TODAY.
Listen people - we already pay through the nose for emergency room visits yearly for the healthcare disenfranchised. The shame we bear for our wealth should be shame enough for all.
My anger now is best summed up from "Henry V". I relish the fact that the Republican party and their harpies are being compared to the French here. I will fight for this.
I was not angry since I came to France
Until this instant. Take a trumpet, herald;
Ride thou unto the horsemen on yon hill:
If they will fight with us, bid them come down,
Or void the field; they do offend our sight:
If they'll do neither, we will come to them,
And make them skirr away, as swift as stones
Enforced from the old Assyrian slings:
Besides, we'll cut the throats of those we have,
And not a man of them that we shall take
Shall taste our mercy. Go and tell them so.
